What the research says
[salt-sugar-fat] Sweeter than sucrose (173 vs 100 on relative scale), so General Foods used it to cut sugar by 10%+ in Kool-Aid and Tang while keeping bliss, then marketed the result as '25% less sugar.' Anti-caking agents (starch, calcium citrate, tricalcium phosphate, silicon dioxide) added to keep it free-flowing.
