Heterodimers
Complexes formed between two different receptors or molecules.
Pairings of two different protein subunits. Nuclear receptor heterodimers (e.g., RXR-RAR, RXR-VDR, RXR-PPAR) are central to vitamin A, D, and fatty acid gene regulation.
